For the ability to use all of my M lenses, which cost much more than 
$5000, on a digital rangefinder camera.  I paid much more than that 
for the two Canon digital cameras that I use daily.  I like the 
Canons but I love rangefinders.  The Epson was a possibility but I 
heard too much about its problems.  I waited for a digital camera 
that would be the equivalent of my Leica M film cameras.  It doesn't 
matter to me that it's by Leica or that it has a red dot.  I just 
want the best camera available that will shoot the way I want to 
shoot.  It's worth it to me.
