That is the lowest price of the 3 I found with GOOGLE last night. Unfortunately, I procrastinated and let one slip away recently for $550. I think I'll wait a bit longer. Cheers! If the price is good then it will cut fine images. It will still cut fine images if it is not priced right, just not on your M5. :) Don don.dory@gmail.com -----Original Message----- From: Wayne Torry Sent: Friday, November 03, 2006 6:59 PM To: 'lug@leica-users.org' Subject: Leica M5 & Konica M-Hexanon 28 2.8 lens Greetings from a lurker of many moons. I stumbled upon a Konica M-Hexanon 28/2.8 lens this afternoon at a local camera shop. It appears new in the box with all caps, hood, instruction booklet, etc. I didn't have the M5 with me at the time. I will return tomorrow with the camera to make a final decision. My only concern is whether or not the rear element will interfere with the meter arm of the M5. Can anyone confirm that the Konica 28mm lens will work on the M5 body? Thanks for your help. I have enjoyed y'all's pictures and discussions for several months now. Wayne
