Once we figure out the processing, we can just do it, and pretty much stop thinking about it so we can concentrate on keeping that shutter button unstuck. But right now, I have this feeling I don't have it right enough to forget about yet. I'd be perfectly happy to lazily adopt the techniques of someone who's put in the time to figure it out and get it right. (F'rinstance, I like the look I get by applying B.D.'s channel-mix-then-local-sharpen B&W conversion recipe, if I start with low-noise images.)<<<< Hi Jeff, Hey no problem from me, as I had a lesson from B.D. a couple weeks ago while visiting Boston. So I'm far more anxious to learn all this stuff even as confusing as it is. So you wont hear anymore griping from me about techie stuff! Because brother, " I have seen the light! And it's an M8!" Hallelujah! ;-) :-) Just bring it on and I'll sooner or later get it right! :-) Or hire someone to do it for me! ;-) ted
