The Epson roll >papers seem to be immune to flattening by heat or force. What's the secret? Brian - I use roll paper in my 4800. ImagePrint will solve the paper waste problem but it's expensive. There is absolutely no waste with IP. I love their profiles, too. As for the curl, humidity seems to help. It's humid here in SC and I just put mine under a print-flattening platten.
