Best meaning good tones, not much grain and tack sharp. For that, D-76 1:1...Now, when it's only for fun Rodinal (1:50)seems to love that grainy texture. Of course it helps to have large expanses of solid tones and overexpose a bit. Also, Photoshop can make Velvia look like 800 ISO Wal-Mart color.
