My only experience with higher isos is with my R8 and high iso Fuji film, and with my D200 neither are much good in my opinion. Although the D200 is better than the Fuji film by a fair amount. The M8 is on my list, just have to figure out the funding. Then there is the DMR for my R8 and R lenses to work on. ;-) Gene -------------- Original message from Slobodan Dimitrov <s.dimitrov@charter.net>: -------------- > For me, the M8 is not even a bounce off the rim. > > Slobodan Dimitrov > http://www.sdimitrovphoto.com/ > > > > On Dec 7, 2006, at 6:13 AM, Tina Manley wrote: > > > At 08:40 AM 12/7/2006, you wrote: > > After all we don't declare a slam-dunk for a particular B&W film > > when all films are processed in the same developer for the same > > time; we optimize each film's development and decide under what > > conditions each film/developer combination produces the effect > > we're looking for.
