As you can remember the Barcelona Rambla is plaint of flower sellers, did you know that a part of it the name is "La Rambla de la flores"? I find that in most cases large out of focus foreground does not work and so the first "row" of the roses should have been the best the choice for the critical focus. Lack of DOF makes the use of the 90 on a RF difficult up close IMO.
