Strangely, I don't think this is such a rare occurrence...

At least I am surrounded by automotive eccentrics at work.  The founder 
who is probably worth 9 figures drives a Lexus RX400h.  The CEO is 
either in a 1960's Ford stationwagon, or a used 90's SAAB.

We don't need a stinking car to make a statement.  We're a statement 
ourselves.
