That's how I determined that I should use lower ISOs and underexpose with the M8. The Leica lens is the 75/1.4 - a very good, contrasty lens and it is clean. What it comes down to is that I'm not planning to use the M8 on a tripod to photograph test patterns. I never use a tripod. I photograph moving people in dim light. That's how I have to use the M8 to learn how get the best results from it - Wide open in dim light in real life situations.
