My opinion is just limited to some in store handling and reading reviews etc. There are some Zeiss glass options. I like the fact that it has analog dials for the controls on the top plate, too. Much more intuitive than menus IMHO. I agree that super power Sony has the clout to make the Alpha gear big in the market place. Does any one rate the Sony (Minolta/Konica) with its IS built into the body and good glass, it is backed now by Sony who in my opinion may be the only company big enough to challenge Canon.
