Thanks John.....Yes, M mount...

I will look into the hooded non-ASPH 'Lux.....  It may be the best overall 
option for me.....
Backup is the 50 Cron....  But I am trying to stay in the F1.4 range.....

The 50 Summilux Asph and the last version of the 50 Summilux non-Asph  
with the collapsing hood both focus to 0.7 meter.

The third version of the 50 Summicron (six element 1969 - 1979) and  
up all focus to 0.7 meter

The latest 50/2.8M focuses to 0.7 meter.
