I was contemplating the macro capability. Something I haven't played with at all. I'm really looking forward to receiving my yearbook. We are pooling post services here due to the extortionate fees demanded by UPS to deliver here to Australia. Somehow more than double what my purchases through Amazon cost. I like it a lot. My flower picture in the yearbook was taken with it. I believe some of my flower shots in the gallery as well. I find you can come in fairly tight even without the adapter. More useful then the DR Summicron for closeups. It's a very sharp lens, with or without the adapter. Very compact as well.
