I have an impression that the sharpest focus is around the front of the water container. Maybe slightly closer than your subject's eyes? Maybe I am just seeing some slight softening with the small web reproduction? I'd value your opinion because I am currently seeing this with a new 50 that I got and am unsure if it's just lack of practice with the limited DOF or maybe my brain's out of focus! As an aside, dentists on your trip. Did they have Leicas? Who would have thunk it ;-) Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+hoppyman=bigpond.net.au@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Tina Manley Sent: Tuesday, 16 January 2007 00:16 To: paw@micapeak.com; lug@leica-users.org; MUGers@yahoogroups.com; seephoto@micapeak.com; digitalusersgroup@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Leica] IMG: Teeth PESO: I promised I'd put up a photo showing the silver-decorated teeth in Guatemala. Here is one: http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/73102969 and a closer view: http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/73102972 These are pretty conservative compared to some that have moons and stars. The dentists on the trip really get upset when they see small children with these silver designs on their baby teeth that some local dentist has convinced the parents are really necessary.
