I expect the lens specific data has to be in the DNG file otherwise a  
correct raw conversion would be impossible surely?
Aren't ALL raw file formats raw data plus camera/lens specific data  
so the raw convertor knows what to do. If not Adobe would not need to  
continually issue updates of their raw converter adding new cameras.
Am I mistaken?
