I copied the FAQ just in case of someone wants to know: When will the UV/IR filter be available? Filter supplies have started since February 2007. The filters are being sent directly to LEICA M8 customers free of charge by Leica Camera AG. Due to the very high demand and a complex manufacturing process, it will take several weeks for some filter sizes to be shipped. Up to now, the most common sizes E39 and E46 are being shipped. Please see the table below for the start of your particular filter. We kindly ask for your understanding, if your size is not yet available. Due to these delays, we do ship single filters at this time. The not yet available filter will be shipped separately.
