Yes I know that they have been around for a while from larger shops but this isn't a shop that normally sells specialised kit. It's amazing what the driver to make what was specialist storage until recently into high street commodity. I don't think that we would realistically have predicted it a decade ago. Anyway it was a dual disk enclosure claiming to be RAID 1 which suggests that it was probably only two largish disks with an aggregate 1TB, not 2 x 1TB drives mirroring. Price around GBP 375.
