Subject: [Leica] IMG: More from July 4 week around Seattle

I had to look it up. I thought the pointed things were supposed to be 
missle nose cones.  I was wrong:

The "Wall of Death" is the name of a popular sculpture located along the 
Burke-Gilman Trail and under the north end of the University Bridge. It's 
name and form were derived from the name of a carnival act that consisted 
of motorcycles speeding around the inside of a cylinder, going so fast 
that they ride horizontally on the vertical wall.

The "Wall of Death" was created by artists Mowry and Colin Baden. It was 
installed in 1993.
