Please tell me if you think that I am on the right track. I might need to reduce the contrast from my curve as well, but how do the exposure levels look? Knowing that you are an experienced photographer without exposure problems, maybe the reason will be the developing. I've appreciated principally this aspect on the outside pictures, the indoors pictures or the ones with a less contrasted light, are excellent, as your portrait or "Busker in the mall", or your friendly se?orita..., or the tea conversation - I see these ones as perfect exposed or developed -. Developing, I am fairly confident, but I need a densitometer there, maybe. (one roll Neopan 400 one of Delta 100 here).I use an gentle S curve to add a bit of punch to the fairly flat scans. Sometimes I think too, the viewing from within a browser makes the tones suffer. I'll try again with a new curve and some proofing in the browser. No idea what they look like on everyone else's monitors, of course. These are adjusted for printing with my hardware.
