I really did not want to get us off into a discussion of this. Let it just remain that most of the Hove authors are quite unhappy about the shielding of the company from its responsibilities. Yes, we were advised of the bankruptcy. The British Courts "recognized" us as creditors and then blew us away, and simply signed over our rights to the successor company without comment. This is clearly illegal but we are in a jam, as the new company is continuing to distribute our books without paying royalties either for the period before the bankruptcy or for the period after the bankruptcy. One of our number made a settlement and another has opted out, but the rest of us are rather left in the lurch. Let's get back to discussing M8 batteries. There is more nutrition in an M8 battery than in a Hove book, after all: Mark Rabiner sprinkles M8 batteries onto his pancakes, and who knows better than Mark "Crepe Electronique" Rabiner?
