Its a week's trip this time. I am working on the FOM2 book: its much harder than I had thought. Still I'm slowing getting it together. I hope to go to the Photokina too, but my holidays are pretty tight next year: at this stage anyway. The DMR was great in the Arctic and as the R10 is unlikely to make it, I'll use it again. Your 560 would have been very useful in the Arctic: everything is so far away: which is sometimes better with Polar bears: <http://stmaarten.globat.com/%7eafirkin.com/NewSite/Arctic/source/l5881147.htm> http://tinyurl.com/2y7yhl Cheers and hope to see you in Chicago --- grduprey@mchsi.com wrote: From: grduprey@mchsi.com To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> Subject: Re: [Leica] When is the next Photokina Date: Mon, 22 Oct 2007 18:24:09 +0000 Alastair, Good to see you back amoung the group. Photokina is next Sept/Oct. I plan on being there, as we will be making our first major travel of our retirement around that time. I am hoping the R10 will be announced and sales to start right around then. Until then I will save my pennies and keep using the D200 when I need a DSLR. Can't wait to try my 560 Telyt on the R10. ;-) On another subject...Anything happening on FOM2 front? A book perhaps? Are you coming to Chicago this Winter?
