<sigh>  You folks just love to bash the IIIc but 
it is the least expensive and the most flexible 
of all Leica cameras.  Some hate it for reasons 
which seem to me so very murky as to be really 
obscure.  It is a great camera.  It can be had 
cheap.  It has hundreds of add-ons and 
doo-dads.  I do not believe that anyone 
"collects" the IIIc.  It is a tool, just like the wristwatch.

If you have questions, pray, read my book on LTM 
camera lenses:  I pretty honestly set out my 
adulation for the camera there.  Bear in mind 
that I REALLY regard the Contax II as the 
ultimate P&S camera but I also love the Leica IIIc.  Sunny 16 rules, of 
course.
