I have no responsibility for your life choices.

On the other hand, I'm currently going through the role of  
responsibility, personal and social, in a participatory republic with  
my 5 and 11 year olds. While it's not exactly a walk in the park,  
it's not overly testing my capabilities in articulating concrete  
examples either.
While I thought that my academic background in religious studies, and  
being an active Human Relations Commissioner in a municipality of  
nearly 1/2 million folk, would come to the fore, it hasn't. I'm  
always amazed on how much we draw from the intimacy of our personal  
lives.
