Only the sunken garden at the back was completely finished. A beautiful city by the lake. Nice to see Wismar looking so fresh too, it rained there on our tour. Rostock was always kept in good repair, even in the times of the GDR, it was one of the main sources of "Valuta" (foreign currency) from day trippers arriving from Scandinavia by sea.
