I really appreciate compositional and technical suggestions especially. For the first (lying) you mean a more square crop (your fault I am stuck on golden section rectangles now) or that the image has some perspective distortion of the buildings owing to the lower angle (from the 28)? I was a little undecided regarding putting the figures centrally, however I do like the framing palm trees for context. A bit too static maybe. I'll try a crop from the left. I like the second of the man on the swing also. Thanks for noticing. Understood on the third, I was also cropping to minimise an area that needed repair as well (I kinked the film in processing) while maintaining the proportions. I can see that the crop from the bottom will position my runner better. Thanks for commenting Cheers Hoppy -----Original Message----- Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: New Hoppy travelogue part four, Sitges continued Hi Hoppy, Loved these three a lot: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/a/2/S08.jpg.html (a tiny bit more squared maybe?) and esp. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/a/2/S09.jpg.html and http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/a/2/S12.jpg.html (I think with one row of tiles less at the bottom) Your Europe trip has become very fruitful!
