(But still pretty busy with the puppy who is asleep at the moment!) Matthew -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+matthew=hunt.tc@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+matthew=hunt.tc@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Lottermoser George Sent: 09 November 2007 16:58 To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Friday fungus Done in Lightroom. In Curves: Took the "lights" down as far as possible (to darken grass) Took the "darks" down a bit (to increase contrast) Took the "hilights" down a bit (to increase highlight detail). Decentered the main subject to increase visual interest, discover asymmetrical balance and allow the eye to move about the composition; as opposed to the frozen, bulls eye. Cropped the foreground oof grass out to strengthen the foreground nature of the subject. Glad you liked it ;~) Regards, George Lottermoser george@imagist.com On Nov 9, 2007, at 10:39 AM, Matthew Hunt wrote: > That's a really beautiful conversion, George, thank-you.
