There is almost nothing on a IIIc that can not be fixed for under $300. New curtains, a new mirror in the rangefinder, a little cleaning and new lube and you will have a superior user that you know is correctly functioning. Or you could spend $200 on a clean IIIc and in six months have to send it in for a CLA as the shutter starts to drag becuase the previous owner fired off a thousand frames at the one second shutter speed to loosen it up but not a permanent fix.
