Both supplied by Leica at no charge. Using the filters basically assures you of wonderful color balance. Sure, I'd like to have a separate filter on each lens (to avoid changing). Yet, I've not found it a necessity. The combination of lens coding and cutoff filter definitely significantly improves the color balance and vignetting (with wide lenses). I'm one of those who love the Leica's decision to keep the IR filter off the sensor. I enjoy working with the high IR sensitivity images. I also have a great appreciation for the micro detail that the M8 achieves.
