Yes, they are everywhere around here in Marin County where "holier than thou" attitude prevails. I drive a 48+ mpg actual Civic Hybird with a bumper sticker that says, "No" to work... Still, if you are going to be driving around town, who really cares about the fuel economy? That's what I told my wife who drives 12,000 km around town per year in her Volvo station wagon. Surely, Prius would be 3 times as efficient, but the savings in cost of fuel is less than $1000 / year, hardly worth the cost of a new car. Carbon footprint?
