Hi Geoff,

I checked the negatives. The pictures are quit faithful to the 
negatives. There is not much more in the negatives then you see on the 
monitor. But I have a very good crt monitor. Things might be different 
on an other monitor.
Don't get too obsessive with tonality. As long as you like the picture 
it is oke. Technique should be a way to get results, not the goal in it self
I stick to one film and one developer. I recently switched form xtol 1+1 
to xtol 1+2. Small variations makes you an expert in the long run, but 
be consistent. Small variations can make quit a difference.
