I'm so eco friendly, not only do I drive a Prius, but I don't _own_ it
-- I belong to Philly Car Share, so I only pay for the actual hours I'm
getting 56 mpg with it. I mean driving it.

What they're probably doing in the left lane is watching the fuel
consumption calculator and trying to top their previous MPG record (I do
this, and it leads me to creep along in traffic so that I don't go fast
enough to start the engine and only use the battery during traffic jams
-- I haven't noticed people yelling at me, but that's probably because
I'm giggling loudly about my milage.)

Now, one might easily argue that 56mpg is something that cars ought to
have been getting in the 70's and that this is no great shakes -- it's
true, but it's a start. My coolpix 950 wasn't a match for my F100 (or my
M6) in many ways, but I ended up using it a lot because certain things
it did better.

I also love that the car has an "on" button instead of an ignition
switch.
