The pre Asph 35's were pancakes as far as I go.

And the 50 Summicron C is flat enough.

Its hard to design them flat and so you can still grab them.
Focus and everything.

And Leicas have a tradition of collapsibles which are even better IMO than
pancakes.


May as well call them "crapes".
