I understand what Alan has said regarding the apparent slope of the bench back but it may well be as shown in reality. Notice the tree to the left looks about at its natural growth angle to my eye. The foreground OOF branches to left and right don't both me overly, We do get a sense of peeping through the foliage I think, with the plane of focus where it belongs. Probably the only thing I might be tempted to clean up is the small bright twig bottom centre. That is trivial. Always possible to see the pictures differently naturally, and I do understand Alan's suggestions which reflect conventional thinking certainly. More important than all that, what fabulous colour and it is an elegant exposure as shown. I would have liked to see a shot of just the upper half of the picture - the trees without the bench. The slope of the seat and the light patch of grass detracts from the red leaves, and I don't like the darker leaves touching the bench. And even without these aspects, the out of focus twig on the left is unacceptable. I got in the habit years ago of scanning the edge of the frame before each exposure, to be sure there were no or at least as few distractions as possible. It just takes practice, so keep it in mind and it should become automatic. I know this sounds awfully negative, but I hope it might help in the future.
