It has one member so far, me! Alternatively, I have a virtual print exchange where I swap printable files with other LUG folk. This saves postage and lets each person make their own prints. You have to be comfortable with sharing printable files though. We always take it on trust that LUG friends will make a print for themselves and not distribute the file otherwise. I have the start of a lovely personal LUG friends photo album here with two prints each from a number of talented photographers so far. Some of them even like the files I send! Cheers Geoff (hoppy) http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/gh/a/ -----Original Message----- Subject: Re: [Leica] IMG: Print Exchanges It is the nature of print exchanges that they work best with about 20 people. Any more and it becomes too burdensome to make all of the prints; too many less and it's not interesting. What this means is that if you are reading about print exchanges and you think it sounds like fun, you ought to just start one. I'd be happy to set up an email distribution list for you to coordinate and communicate within your exchange group (something@leica-users.org). There are 1041 people on the LUG. That's enough for 50 print exchange groups. Surely there ought to be more than one. _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
