Brian intended to censor us or have us sit on our hands. This ship won't move without all hands on deck. But rather he suggested ways for us to keep our sails taut and properly angled to the wind. May I suggest some simple guidelines (definitely not rules) to myself and others? 1. Offer constructive critiques (both positive and negative) - on list 2. Offer simple (or lavish) praise, without citing reasons - off list - and do it often to encourage and guide 3. Offer polite gratitude for the comments of others - off list - also often, if not always, just like our mamas told us and of course 4. When in doubt - on list - I don't want to miss any juicy gossip ;~) 5. Spontaneous chatter - on and off list - as the spirit moves us - lord knows we need the "lightness of being" in this world Regards, George Lottermoser george@imagist.com www.imagist.com Picture A Week - www.imagist.com/paw_07 On Nov 29, 2007, at 12:05 PM, Ted Grant wrote: > After all at this point in time we don't have "censorship" > as long as it says polite and useful and family language.
