While I love rich blacks in BW shots, for me, this one renders the chocolate so dark as to make it look like oil or gloss back paint, if you like. I think that the tone might work better in colour to give the chocolate some context, maybe. A visual clue. Can we see this in colour? Food in BW is a hard one, I think.
