A wonderful series this week Nathan (as usual).

I prefer Alt 1 to your main pick. I find it's composition a bit more  
complex (allowing my eye to roam more fluidly), textures and lines  
more beautiful. This whole series of beach waves I find quite  
successful. I've often worked at this subject with far less success.
