Are you certain of this?  Graf von Zeppelin died 
in 1917 long before series production of the 
Leica camera commenced.  My copy of LEICA ADS 
still hasn't surfaced, so I cannot check your kind reference directly.

Oscar Barnack was a Zeppelin fan, and took a 
jaunt over Wetzlar in SWABIA in the summer of 
1914.  A picture he took with one of the 
ur-Leicas on that flight was published in a Leica 
advert thirty years ago though Solms now claims 
to have no knowledge of the picture or, for that matter, of the brochure.

Hugo Eckener was a Leica user and was one of the 
few folks ever gifted twice with a gift camera by 
the Leitz factory.  He was an occasional guest of Ernst Leitz II.
