Haven't read the LUG at all, so I missed out on the intellectual ruminations about the Cutting Edge. And it the full frame M9 came out, somebody, please advise. Anyway, Saturday we got out into the real world and headed for the hills. Fortunately, in Washington State, the real world can be downright gorgeous when it isn't raining, which it wasn't. And the hills can be quite big. Mountainous, even. We ended up in the little town of Index, Washington just before sunset. This splendid vista was captured with the 'umble VC 90/3.5 on Ye Olde M8, with a bit of cropping: http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/pklein/album170/L1002473IndexMtns-w.jpg.html This is just a happy snap.
