I can note that reviews of the D3 in the UK point to some problems with Moire which might cause problems for fashion photographers. As a long time Nikon film user, and relatively new adaptor of Leica film cameras, the full frame D3 looks very tempting. I still prefer prime lenses and the new Zeiss lenses have strengthened that preference. This preference does not rule out using a smaller than full frame sensor as all the M8 users will be only to happy to point out, but I still get frustrated that the character of my existing lenses changes dramatically when placed on a less than full frame sensor. For the time being film serves me well and it allows me to play with kit that used to be well beyond my reach. Maybe when the D4 appears I will be able to afford a second hand D3. I fear I may be too old to wait for the R11 so I can afford a R10! Furthermore, I do wonder how long it will take to develop a full frame M camera. But heck, my film Leicas will out last me. Chris B
