After that take the HD out of the enclosure and install it in an external enclosure. I use Vantec but there are plenty other brands. Beyond that, you can try installing it into your PC directly. If that doesn't work, then your disk may indeed be fried. Depends on the value of the data, you may want to go for professional assistance at that point.
