Thanks for the kind comments. I was trying to loosen up in my shooting, sort of like the automatic drawing of the surrealists. Plus, by not looking through the camera I looked less the rube tourist in the big city, awed by the tall buildings. ;-) And in truth, I only had one hand free anyway - I was weighted down with my Domke full of a Canon 1DII, lenses, and flashes, and another bag with tripod, light stands, and Quantum packs. Speaking of an auto IIIf, I guessed the exposure too.
