The short version is 300ppi, sRGB, work out the size you want on the page e.g. how much white surround. You can see some common sizes recurring in last years book. I aimed to make mine about one of those sizes. 7.6 in x 5.3 (2271x1538)that size this year, rather than have the Blurb software resample my pictures. Full page no margin 9.6x8.2 in I went for 2280 px by 1500 px (landscape). Of course 300ppi in your file is not the same as printing resolution but, functionally close enough.
