Hi, Tina, sorry to find you so resentful and so uncharacteristically
hostile.

I don't believe I ever suggested that you are a Bush supporter. And I did
not say that all Leica owners are Bush supporters, or that all members of
the LUG are Bush supporters. I believe what I said - AFTER someone Smith
made a political remark praising Bush and Cheney - that I wasn't surprised
to see that the last half-dozen Bush supporters are hiding out here. I know
that I have many political confreres here, none of whom I will embarrass by
naming, and many friends here as well - a good number of whom I regularly
correspond with when I am not here. Is there now a requirement that one
spend the bulk of his or her time in the saloon to be allowed through the
door?

As to your choice of equipment or mine - yours is yours and mine is mine.
And if you'll go back through the last week's post you'll note that I
haven't been equipment bashing or generally even commenting.

I'm sure there are any number of people I've antagonized - I've obviously
managed to ruffle the Birdman's feathers, but I only have to share the
earth's atmosphere with him to accomplish that.

But if your feathers are really all that ruffled, I'd most politely suggest
you think about why they are. And why you'd think, because I disagree with a
handful of people about of the totality of the list, you equate that with
hating all Leica users and everything Leica. Is there really some Kool Aid
one is now required to drink in this saloon?
