The issues with white balance are still dogging this Canon product. I'm thinking of maybe going back to a gel over the flash and altering the color balance in camera. Haven't made any tests yet, as this just came to me as I'm writing, but definitely worth a shot. Now that the camera is bigger I find myself not using the hand-grip as I did with the 20D. It has a better fit for some reason. I've found that most non L zoom lenses are really best at f7.1 and beyond. The prime lenses seem to do well at most of their apertures, unlike the zooms. s.d.
