I was so happy to be there at the right time of day to get the shadows of the sailors in front of them. In comparison, the fall sailors picture is nothing on its own, but when I was at that spot and saw them again, it was almost to good to be true; to have a contrasting pair. Looking at this (summer) picture now, it's eerie, but the x-shapes of their scarves look exactly like the photos of chromosomes that I was processing for one of our biologists shortly after I took this.
