Same here.  Herbert Keppler even offered original 11x14 B&W prints of an
Ethiopian picture of his for readers to buy so they could see what proper
technique could accomplish.  I'm sorry I never put in an order.  I still go
through my collection of Moderns and Pop Photos for recreation.  It seems
amazing to me that he wasn't 100 years old, since he had been published for 
so
long.
