We are really trying to avoid a shoulder replacement which all concerned recommended against. There is a more complex procedure that opens more of the shoulder and uses plates/pins. The thought was to avoid this. Both surgeons have mucho tramau-center experience. The 3D CAT scan was pretty amazing to see - and explained why the shoulder is so touchy to certain motions.
