Hip-hop, like photography, just needs a certain amount of equipment and research. First, there are a few simple modifications to your car (so far as I know, the auto is the preferred venue for hip-hop), the first being a good sub-woofer or two: http://www.fastcar.co.uk/04570735435553622455/world-s-loudest-subwoofer.html This model is capable of 180 decibel output. For reference, a jet engine at 100' is about 140 dB, and it is a log scale (the loudest sound that can be recorded is 194 dB). Then, of course, there are the amplifiers to produce several thousand watts to the woofers. Probably all of this is small change compared to an M-8 outfit or two. With regard to the music, I suggest going to the roots, before gangsta rap. A good starting point would be Gary Trudeau's "Rap Master Ronny" (c. 1986), but is seems to be out of print for one reason or the other, so I may have a collectible. But I do have an excerpt from the lyrics, which will give you the beat: Begin: Ok, Reagan campaign message for minority voters, take 37. Can it off, Mr. President. Reagan: 5.. 6.. 7.. 8.. uhh.. 9.. Reagan: Ah! Oh yah! Lord have mercy. Now let me hear a little base now Nancy? So good. So fine. You're cooking now mama. Nancy: Thank you dear. Reagan:Ok people, gotta get down. Brother Ron Reagan has hit the ground. Gotta believe he's the dude of the hour. Got the glory, got the power. Ronny can communicate, the cat can rap. I even let Nancy sit on Mr.T's lap. Loves the needy, loves them dearly. Love to read graffitti if they'd only print it clearly. He can break. Men: Huh!!! Hope this helps :). Ken
