My two cents, after many years of oing photography, is that you don't even
have to be holding a camera to change the way people act. If you are not of
their "culture,"
they'll often act out in ways they think you expect them to act. My
experience with Doctors suggests that they ALWAYS act more "official" when a
camera is present.
