There are also a variety of freeware/shareware readers (or at least there used to be) for the Mac and PC. Finally, most software that burns xrays to CD usually includes a stand-alone file reader on the CD. It may or may not require installation on your computer. Just look for the reader and double click on it. I get xrays on CD from all over the world ( I supervise the state TB clinic in a university town and have to see chest xrays) and they all seem to comply with our standards.
